You can rebuild yours which I would be tempted to do after a total rebuild. New pressure spring and maybe the plunger too depending on how it looks, new bottom plate or resurface yours should be all you need. There is a spec on the gear tooth gap but I don't remember where I saw it. You may need to replace one or both gears if the gap is too big. All of this can be done with the body of the pump still in the engine. Post a picture when your done. Dave
