Yes, you are correct on all of the above. I did more digging and it is definetly a BN with a C front end. Some time in the past, the seat supports had been mixed up. I talked to dad about all of this, and he said that he had an A with tricycle gear and 2 BN's with the wide conversion. He left the A with his friend who used it to bale hay, late 40's early 50's. He was a row crop farmer and liked the wide conversion for his applications.
