I have to rplace the clutch release bearing on my super C.. The original bearing was the carbon type bearing, and it is $130 at my local Case IH dealer.. I have a friend that has a carrier sleeve for the ball bearing type release bearing, and total price going that route is around $40.. Now the question that I have, is the the ball bearing release bearing going to work? The parts book says that the ball bearing type was used for tractors with the Hydra-Creeper, and that the carbon type was used on all other super Cs... Thanks for the help..
