Check to see that there aren't any stuck valves in the hydraulic unit. If a valve were stuck, the fluid would be forced through the smaller relief valve opening. If your pump was really weak before, it is possible that it didn't matter, and now with the new pump making tons of pressure, the oil won't travel through the relief valve fast enough. This would also be accompanied by a load on the engine. Also, check to be sure that there is no air in the system(ie. bleed it). Hydraulic pumps don't like running air through, so that will also make noise. Where does it sound like the squeal is coming from? If it is from the pump, I would guess air. If it is back by the control valves(just in front of your feet I think), I would guess a plugged screen or a stuck valve.
