Farmall M governor adjustment Screw?

I bought a lot of parts off neighbor who used to work on tractors. I was looking at a governor that I purchased and noticed it had a adjustment screw and lock nut coming through rear of housing, toward the the block side. Housing has IHC cast in bottom. Has 2 weights, no linkage to carb. I Noticed none of my M's had this screw. Is this a aftermarket modification or is this off of a different IH engine? I can send pics if needed.
