On a straight M you can drop out the belly pump and reach up and disconnect the transmission input/clutch output shaft and pull it apart. Plan to spend a couple hours on your back and hope that the flywheel is in good shape. Many here feel that it is an advantage to do a non-split clutch only if you have something mounted on the tractor like a loader, or do not have access to splitting stand and a good concrete floor. Splitting the M’s is not a big deal or very time consuming IF you have splitting stands and a good place to work.
