I-424 vs. I-404

There is an I-424 for sale nearby. Now, I don;t know the price or the year (yet) but I have an I-404 (yellow industrial) tractor.

Does anyone know if the parts are in any way interchangeable? The engines, transmissions, pumps, and other stuff? I know alot depends on how close in year models they are, but assuming they were the same year or close, I'm just wondering if the two models were relatively similar.
