Well yea ya could and if i was going to go thru all the trouble it would have to be the 310 not the 282 . But why worry about that just run the 301 till it dies , you ain't going to be worken it that hard as a loader tractor and other chore work . And if you are going to be grinding feed i sure as heck would be using the 966 for that . We have had enough problems with the 706 on the grinder , most of the time we use my 806 or the 1066 or even the S/MTA , i can not explain it but but the 706 does not like to grind feed it will either eat a exhust valve or eat a piston . So we just use the other ones and every one in a bluemoon even the old 720 Deere just to clean the carbon out of her when ya put the small screen in that will make her talk .
