Russ-I found the race. I think I had some of the washers, next to the spindle nut, arranged in the wrong order. I had a small thrust washer on either side of the large thrust washer, with the three bolt holes in it. I took it apart, and put the large thrust washer, with the bolt holes, next to the outer bearing, and put the two small thrust washers on, outside of that, next to the spindle nut. It took all the play out of the left wheel, and took most of the play out of the "furrow side" wheel. Could be that the "furrow" side wheel has more wear on the inner bearing. Will have to disassemble, and compare from side to side. Hope I now have the washers in the right order, and also hope you din't tear apart one of your wheels already. Thanks for your help.

Originally the company was called the Cleveland Motor Plow Company which began in 1912, then the Cleveland Tractor Company (1917) and finally Cletrac.
