We're good on the mag. I'm glad to see it go to someone who could use it instead of sitting around collecting dust im my garage. I probably told you that I replaced it with one of the aftermarket Delco units - you know, the one turned up 90 degrees so the plug wires are under the hood. The guy I bought it from said that it came off a tractor that siezed not long after the distributor went on. I believe it, it didn't look like it had any wear. You probably know more about them than I do, but they do have some interesting features. There is a little plate that can be removed that provides easy access to grease the gears. And a screw on the top of the main body. I thought that this was like the IH distributors such that you would, from time to time, replace the screw with a grease zerk and squeeze a little new grease into it, but I could not get the screw out. So when I had everything torn down I used a little heat and broke the screw free and found the body filled with oil. I don't have a clue why as there are no seals or rotating parts. I cleaned her out and re-filled it with Hy-Tran.
