Sometimes you will find this and the proper way to fix this problem is to bore that hole out oversized and install arepair sleeve and then bore it to take the new one , we have found this problem on a lot of the old MD thru 450 D and yea ya can smear something on it for a bandaid but there is a good chance that it will get worse and then crack the sleeve then ya can either junk it or do it wright the next time. Myself i would prefer to do it one time .
