Hi Allan , I hope it is ! I looked in the check plug opening at the gear's and saw that they were pretty rust pitted :"( I'm not that worried about it though . All it's going to do around here for the forseeable future is run the grain elevator at hay time and pull the hay rake maybe the 990 mo-co .

Question - Do you know if the front seal can be changed without removing the motor or crank , It look's like it should be ? Thanks ....Randy
