Gentlemen this is my first post here. I am looking for info on the front end alignment for my 52 super M. should the wheels be parallel or how much toe-in should there be. I had noticed that the front wheels were not parallel and and it felt as if this was causing hard steering. No powersteering on this old girl. I started checking and found the right tierod end to be loose on the adjustable tierod. I pulled it apart and found that at some time in the past the tierod had broken inside the tierod end and 2 inches of the tierod end had been left inside the tierod end. There was only about 3/4 of an inch of threads left on the tierod and no jamnut. This had finally gotten loose from the strain of loaderbuckets full of dirt and snow and handling 1600 lb hay bales. I drilled out the broken shaft end and cleaned out the threads in the tierod end, then rethreaded the tierod about 4 inches. I'm ready to go back together but want to set the toe-in correctly to facilitate steering. THanks to all of you for all the great info I have soaked up reading this forum.. Tallperson
