Your post is appreciated as to fitting certain tractors as my catalog is dated in early 1952. I wouldn't have a clue when the mid-mounted shock seat actually became available from IH. I drove a lot of the letter series Farmalls when I was a kid back in the later 1940's and all I remember about them was they were all silver canvas seats. Maybe some of the early advertising pieces or Guy Fay would have more information as to when the seat was actually available from the factory. Hal
