FBHM H motor Serial Whats The M

HI Guys,
I was just looking at the serial # on one of my Hs and noticed it says F B H M On the motor what does the M stand for . MARINE This is the one that went in the pond. LOL
When did they switch hubs in the front ? The one I just rebuilt uses keepers with a different style hub and all the rest have eye holes rivited to the rim with a thin Hub.
