It wouldn't surprise me if you found a really big mouse nest in there. The mouse pee will rust everything up and the nest will get all wadded up in the release arms. The little buggers seem to love clutch housings, if they can find a way in there they will make themselves at home. Bad news is I'm pretty sure an MD clutch won't come out the belly pump hole like a regular M will so you may have to split the tractor if you need to do more than just clean it out. Let us know what it turns out to be. Ed
