The 400 and 300 series were the first Farmalls to have a square tooth throttle from the factory,not shaped like the earlier but square tooth. Ever attend an auction of an old IH dealership, You will find several new saw tooths take offs that were replaced prior to delivery. The first square tooths were made by Monroe, the IH seat vendor.Been over 50 years but I think I'm right
