99 of 100 the float level will affect the mixture and not much else. If the gas is flowing into the bowl and flooding it to drip, the needle and seat are the issue. There could be a mote of dirt in the system keeping it a wee bit open, however it is probably just worn. Always shut off the fuel at the tank on all tractors. (It keeps idiot theaves just down the road a piece) JimN
