Im trying to remember this so bear with me. The needle bearing on the main shaft is held on with the bolt and washer, this bearing rides inside the constant mesh gear.(I called it that, but there is a technical term for it, maybe main drive gear. This gear drives the bottom shaft)There is another bearing in the housing for the constant mesh gear that that shaft rides on which is the one the snap ring holds in place with the snap ring.The drive side of the coupler goes on the end with a bolt and washer as well.Ill assume you have the constant mesh gear out, so I would go aheaad and replce the bearing and seal while you have the pump dropped.
