The only way I know of preventing Iceing is to run warm air into the intake. If a temporary fix needs to be tried, make up a piece of 6" stove pipe 16" long with a cap on one end. Put two holes in it. one in the side about 3" down, and one in the cap. Use use spiral wound intake heater duct (from NAPA or others) that fits over your air intake (remove the precleaner). The top hole fits the top pipe of the muffler, the side hole fits the intake heat pipe. This is moderately ugly, but is only needed in the winter/fall. Plumbing this into the pipe below the hood, and making a manifold shield/stove, would be very slick. A butterfly valve would control flow for summer. Best info I have. JimN
