First off, does your tractor have glow plugs? If so you don,t have a 310 german engine, you have a D282 engine which has a roosamaster pump. Yes the seals on the injection pump drive shaft are probly leaking.If you put a pump on this tractor before you should have changed the two seal on the drive shaft then.they are kinda hard to get started inside the pump when reinstalling the pump but can be done with out any special tools.
