C or Super C?

Hello folks,
Just bought the tractor today. The serial number is confusing to me! The plate under the tractor seat says....FC 134274. According to what I read on the internet. The FC indicated farmall "C" tractor, however the serial number goes to a "Super C". Is this a common problem?? The tractor is now in Alabama, living a life of semi-retirement. Enclosed, heated, clean, and will be well taken care of. Thanks for your help, Russ
