I am just going by what i was told as to the truth to it don't know for sure as i have never tryed one myself but there was another company that was tryen to get me to sell there stuff and they also said the same thing and that they had this here add on kit to stack two hd. filters to improve flow so you could use the 17 gal . pump it stuck out the side of the housing the length of the second filter and all i could see was getting it knocked off so i never tryed one out like i said this is what i was told and since we don't have any working wheatlands in my part of the countryand all i have ever seen is the 12's
