In 1954, my dad bought a Super H from the local International dealer in southern So Dak. The only Super H in the area was down in Nebraska at another dealer. My dad drove the new Super H home over 60 miles. I think there is some optimum distance that it is faster to just drive the tractor rather than putting it on a trailer. I know that it takes me at least 30 to 45 minutes to hook on to the trailer, load the tractor, chain it down, and then unchain and unload at the other end. Plus, you still have to drive the distance which takes time. I mow some land for our church that is 10 miles away and I can make it there much faster by just driving as it only takes 20 minutes to drive with the tractor and it takes longer than that to hook up the trailer and load the tractor. The only down side of driving the tractor is safety, driving with the maniac drivers on the road who don't think you should be on the road. Roger
