The basic block supposedly never changed from 1939 until end of C production All Super C from beginning and Super A after serial number 310300 have the new C-123 block. So that should include all A, B, C and SA before serial 310300. However you should be aware the block part number did change a few times even in that group, may not make any difference but as old said there are different part numbers, so something must be different. Even if you find a block with same part number as yours, you still have to check out the fact someone may have done a rebore, to acomodate oversize sleeves. Safest bet is take the old block when shopping, make sure it is exactly the same.
