I always ask for a picture of what I am buying before sending money or going to get it. That insures me a few things. One, that he really has it. Two, that is it what I want. And three, that he is confidant enough that what he is selling is a good part. Some guys say heck this is a simple part you don"t need a picture of it because they all look the same. Then I say forget the deal then and never communicate with them again. There are plenty of parts tractors out there to find a reputable source to buy from.
