Hi Dale, You really need to get the IH D282 engine manual as there's many adjustments that need to be made before condeming parts. YtMag sells a copy of the orginal engine manual that's well worth the cost. Click on tractor manual at the top left of this page. This could be caused anywhere from a pluged intake/exhaust to suction air leak(s) to injector(s) leaking to the injection pump out of adjustment. There's just too many items to adjust and list here.
