Remote Hydraulic Attachment Questions

I have been wanting a remote valve for my '52 Super M and I have several questions about this unit. Here goes:
1: Is it possible to rebuild the valve unit if need be? If so who offers parts or kits for it?

2: Can I use regular pipe fittings to plumb the system of do I need special fittings?

3: Will my existing filler cap work? Mine doesnt have the vent on top.

4: Can the rear half of the breakaway coupling still be purchased?

Any information on this valve assy. would be like a Christmas present. I greatly appreciate all the input I recieve from all of you on this site.
