Super M Governor Tube to Cylinder Head

Well I am making great progress on my rebuild . I was putting the Governor back on this afternoon and broke the tube ( old Braze Job ) that connects the governor to the Cylinder Head . Im thinking I can put a Piece of Hose and 2 hose clamps to splice it until I can find a new one on Ebay , or salvage yard . Any Problem doing this so I can Make Some smoke with her this week ? Thanks all Once again I appreciate the help.
