I use tranny fluid and or turpentine, had more then one tractor engine locked up and got them freed up that way and have never had to pull the head off. These tractors run well and use little or no oil and don't smoke. One of them is an H that sat in the same place for 25 plus years and it purrs like a kitten, it was locked up tight enough that a pipe wrench on the hand crank and a 6 foot cheater bar wouldn't turn it over. But the starter did after a few hits on a 12 volt battery.
