My Dad's 240U has a pippen loader and backhoe on it. I don't know what it weighs but from the amount of steel in that thing it's gotta be heavy. It probably is a lot more than IH intended for the tractor to carry. We broke one of the axle housings about ten years ago driving over some rough ground. The 240 isn't the most powerfull thing in the world either, but if you are patient it will get the job done. Ed
