little help on 584 please

long story short.young man put cluch in 584, called by military. now gentalman wants me to finish. no problem tin and some hyd. lines. question 1. were to check and add hyd fluid,thinking diff and trans and hyd. all same fluid.2 a line going to rear ,over center (5 or 6 lines) one has flex line going to rear, where might it go??? thanks for any help dont want to buy manual to finish this job.
