Farmall 560 Diesel NEED HELP!

My neighbor has a Farmall 560 diesel WFE. He always took good care of it, everything seemed to work fine, but his grandson was using it and ran it out of engine oil. The engine is now locked up. Has good tires and rims, decent sheet metal, painted about 3 years ago. He's really upset about it, but will sell it for $1200. I don't need it, he does not own a computer to sell it. So I would probally be elected to do so. Do all you think it would be worth messing with, as-is? Thanks for any info.
