If the coolant doesn't have enough anti freeze it wiil freeze when the fan blows cold air thru the radiator. This keeps the mixture from circulating and causes the engine to heat up and will cause it to lose coolant out the over flow.I had this happen years ago and ended up with a cracked block. Cover the radiator and warm it up and drain it down far enough to add the required amount of anti freeze. Run it enought to mix the coolant well and you should be okay.
