If proper attached and tightened down, I think it will distribute the load nicely. Weakest point will be my wide front end. I have no intention of messing it up. I will use it to landscape my yard and carry stuff around, lift the heavy stuff that my back is tired of lifting, etc. My back will be happier. I seem to need something that can lift from time to time. Probably weld some hooks onto the bucket. I am thinking of making a push blade also for it. One that is at an angle to move snow. I will make it so it can pivote and also put some springs on it in case I catch a snag. That will have to be down the road though. I was working on the attachment points for the new bucket today. They essentially look like large triangles with one side curved to fit the bucket. I will get the cutting torch out and cut them out of 1/4 inch steel. Hope my hands are steady. The guy I bought it from has a wire feed and he said he would weld them on for me. I might need to buy a new front cylinder but not sure yet. Several of my hoses will need to get replaces. I will pull the hydraulic controls sometime and go through them also. I am sure there are probably only o-rings in it. I need to make a clevis pin for it also. Lots of fun. Weather is cold though and it makes things a little slow. Thanks for the assistance, Terry

Today's Featured Article - Farmall 460: That's My Girl - by LeAnn R. Ralph. How many sounds can you think of that are as familiar to you as your own breathing? What about the hum of your refrigerator? Or the thump of your clothes dryer? Maybe the engine of your car? You hear those sounds every day, and you don't think much about them, do you. I can think of a few common, ordinary sounds in my daily life, too. ... [Read Article]
