I agree with the post above, get a service manuel or at least IT manuel. I made split stands from metal on an old cultivator. If you have a cement floor to work on yo can support the front with split stands and use a large, 3 ton, floor jack, chained to the tractor, to hold the back up and roll it apart. If you have a loader available you can support the back with heavy blocks, block wheels and roll the front off. Problem is a wide front needs to have blocks put on axles so the motor and front end doesn't try to lay down. Narrow front needs some method to keep it upright. I use 5/8 inch, long bolts with the heads cut off, screwed into the front part as dowels to line it up going back together.
