sommer: Not exactly sure this will work for B, but it works well on all offsets like A, SA, 100, 130 and 140. If you use a double V pulley from 70s early 80s GM V8 it works well. By using the V fartherest from alternator, this will give just enough clearence to allow you to tuck that alternator in close to block and low enough so it doesn't interfere with hood. I mount alternators on SA by welding a flat 3/16" plate on top of old generator mount then just weld tabs on flat plate for alternator to pivot on.
