I've never been tempted to move the Swartz axle on my M, but I successfully moved a very badly stuck axle on a Lo-Boy Cub. It will take two jacks to avoid the binding that will be certain with a single jack. Using two jacks allows moving a few thousandths with each jack before the binding will stop you. You'll need two pieces of steel the same size as the spindle so you can put one jack above the axle. Even on the Cub the 6 ton jacks were overloaded... expect to have to push very hard. George Willer
