Cucumbers have been mechanically harvested on a large scale since about 1970. Currently about 65-70% of the crop is picked with machines and labor pressures are forcing the dwindling handpicked acreages ever smaller. There have been several commerically available harvesters including the Hart-Carter (tractor driven backwards), FMC (self propelled), Blackwelder (same mfg as the tomato pickers), Pik Rite (pull type), Vogel (the new guy on the block) in addition to the Wilde (Raven) machines pictured in the last photos. The Wilde machines are by far the most prevalent designs, but are being phased out by larger, newer, higher capacity machines.

A good estimate would be about 30,000 + acres machine harvested in Michigan, 12,000 + in Missouri, 8,000 in Delaware & Maryland, 2,000 + in North Carolina, and over 10,000 more in Texas, Colorado, Alabama, Wiscosin, and Indiana.
