I was on the site looking for other info, and saw this. I just spent alot of time on my hydraulics this summer. I would loose pressure when the system heated up while cutting hay. On my 450 the reservour is on the right hand side just below the hydr handles. It is a square tank, and at the bottom there is a two bolt eye shaped cover. This is where my screen is. The one was PLUGGED so bad it had collapsed. i could not find a new one, but fortunatley found one used that cleaned up good. For filling and checking the level of the fluid there is what looks like a standard 1/2 pipe plug. The dipstick is on this plug, I keep mine "finger tight" and check it often.
