Not out of the realm of possibility, but it is out there near the edge. Custom pistons, cam, pump drive, rods, and head just for starters. It would be wildly expensive and quite unreliable. If the owner bought, for example, a $1000 tractor that had $15000 worth of modifications to the engine that make it nearly useless in an ag application, I bet he would be able to recall the details a little more vividly. The safe bet is a Continental out of a 350.
