I grew up on 1947 H, drove it when it was fresh off the truck. It had starter button on left side of post about 18/20 inches from deck and magneto kill switch mounted in bracket that held control rod for lift all. Never saw an ignition or kill switch in box with amp meter and light switch until super models.
