Thanks for the hint, did not even try to run the starter yet. Full history of this venture.. The last hay cut I baled, the starter was slipping some. I pulled it and saw some teeth gone. Ran it any way to finish the hay while it was dry. Ran the tractor into the barn, and at that point i should of known... When i turned the key off, the tractor kept running... being in a hurry I just shut down the fuel, thinking I would check it out right away.. WEELLLLLL 8 weeks later.. First snow... I put in the replacement starter, while charging the battery, i noticed the ignition coil was getting warm... and here we are. The solenoid was stuck, the battery is dead, can't get it to hold a charge. so ..... Tonight i'll throw a new battery in, try to fire her up and let ya know.
