Oil Pump?????

I rebuilt my 340 gas put every thing new in it > Got it running, oil gauge showed 50# at 1800 rpm with #40 weight oil. Tractor ran about 10 minutes oil pressure dropped to 40# at 1800.Idled down to 900 dropprd to 20#.Tractor idled about 15 minutes.Went and reved it back to 1800. The oil pressure only came up to 20#. Shutt it off. Went back yesterday started tractor oil pressure was at #45+ after running about half hour oil pressure was only15-18# at 1800. Changed oil same thing! Whats wrong? Thanks
