Randy: You're right, I know next to nothing about the forging process. I am a farmer, not a metals man. The only belt pullies I ever had were paper on the H and metal on SA, 130 and 300. The only pulley I ever handled much was 300 pulley as I had to remove it once per year for other attachments. That tractor has been gone for close to 20 years, but I'm almost certain it had forged steel stamped on pulley. I never paid much attention to SA and 130 pullies. Sold the pulley and gear box off 130 years ago. Just removed pulley from SA two years ago to install a Woods mower. My brother has that pulley on his 230. Now, it's winter up here and I'm not going chasing around old iron sheds to check this out. However I will find out when shows start next summer, and I will remember this thread.
