I remember fixing the old sleds every night after school for a week so that *hopefully* we could ride most of the day on Saturday. One thing was for sure, didn't matter if you were 1 mile or 10 miles away from home, as soon as you turned around to go back they died. Best thing to do is sell all the sleds and buy a 4x4 four-wheeler. Which is what my brother did this year, bought an 05 Arctic Cat 500 liquid cooled 4x4, at least for the $$ it's useful all year long.
