It irks the heck outta me when I hear people that don't know what they're talking about complain about the price of shipping. Have you tried to ship anything lately? Shipping ain't cheap. In fact, it's outrageous. Something the size of a breadbox can cost upwards of $25 to ship cross-country, even if it doesn't weigh more than a few pounds. Ever priced shipping materials? They're outrageous too. We don't all have a basement full of empty cardboard boxes and used packing peanuts... Some of us throw trash in the trash. For us regular folks, packing peanuts are something like $6 per cubic foot, and the shipping companies won't honor their insurance at all if your stuff isn't packed in peanuts. If your box gets damaged (it WILL get damaged) and they find crumpled up newspapers, you can forget about EVER getting them to pay on the claim... "Insufficient packaging." And you wonder why people don't like to ship. The only people making money off the shipping are UPS, FedEx, and the US Postal Service.
