If I were to "prime" in epoxy should I also do the cast (motor, frame, and transmission) or just the sheetmetal. Is there any benefits to doing the cast also. I will have to put a surfacer on top of the sheetmetal to get a decent finish on my tin though. I also have to be careful of the "grace" period of how long to apply paint to the epoxy, correct?

P.S. What is a good epoxy to apply under 2150 that does not cost a ton of money?
