There are reprints of IH factory service manuals available on this site and at binder books dot com.

I like:
The Operators manual for maintanence,
A parts book to be able to see all the parts and where they go,
An IH Service manual for their detail (but, they do not cover everything in depth in a single manual),
An IT manual for a different view of how things come apart (once in a while they do say something like 'disassembly is obvious upon inspection' which is not much help when you are stumped).
