That is the factory mount for a water temp gage that I scavenged from a BN. This is my lawn mowing tractor and it used to get hot before I put a water pump on it. The front tires are loaded with used antifreeze and also have wheel weights on them so the power steering really makes it easy to steer. Even the better half will drive it once in awhile! :-)
